What started as a few friends making pizzas for fun in a Ukrainian Village apartment quickly turned into a viral underground movement. From free pies on Instagram to opening on Grand Ave in 2024, we’ve transformed our spontaneous kitchen project into a community-driven pizzeria where people come together, share great food, and make lasting memories.
The account @eatfreepizza quickly gained traction, and before we knew it, people from all over the industry were taking notice of our rogue, underground pizza project. This spontaneous rise led us to open our first brick-and-mortar spot in Bridgeport. Pizza Fried Chicken Ice Cream, a collaboration between us, Kimski, and Pretty Cool Ice Cream, took off, making headlines with its 2020 post-pandemic opening. Soon after, we expanded to Kim's Uncle Pizza in Westmont, where the buzz around our unique take on Chicago pizza caught the attention of national publications such as Esquire Magazine, The New York Times and The Washington Post. But we weren’t done yet.
In November 2024, we made our mark on Grand Ave by opening PIZZ'AMICI—a spot that feels like home and where we’re committed to building our future. What began as a few friends making pizzas on a whim has turned into a community-driven place where people gather, share great food, and, above all, make memories. And we’re just getting started.
